How activation works
Order first — there is nothing to register beforehand. An activation code is emailed to you the moment the order completes, and that one code covers both routes below: a brand-new account, or a renewal of one you already have.
First time
Register a new account
- Download the setup from updateborneo.com.
- Install it to drive C: — that is where the tool expects to live.
- Run the .exe from
C:\Borneoschematic. - Press Register New User on the login screen.
- Paste the activation code from your email and finish the form.
Already have an account
Renew an existing account
- Open Borneo Schematics, or sign in at portal.borneoschematic.com.
- Choose Renewal rather than Register.
- Paste the activation code from your email.
- Your existing licence is extended — same account, nothing to reinstall.

How long is this licence valid?
It runs for 360 days (12 months) from the moment activation is applied to your account, not from the moment you pay.
What does "2 users" mean exactly?
Two accounts that can be signed in at the same time on two different machines — the normal choice for a workshop with two benches. It costs less than buying two separate 1 User licences.
Do I need a dongle, box or credits?
No. Borneo Schematics is a credit-free, account-based software licence. Nothing physical ships to you.
Do I get library updates during the licence period?
Yes. Every schematic and boardview added during your 360-day window is included at no extra cost. See the update log for what has shipped recently.
Which Windows versions are supported?
Windows 10 64-bit (build 19045 or newer) and Windows 11 64-bit. Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 are not supported at all. Full requirements are on the download page.
Can I get a refund?
No. This is a digital, account-bound product, so it is non-refundable and non-returnable once activation has been applied.
